Since there are many cleaning and decluttering services out there, is important to me that we are the right fit when we work together! We will go over your needs and your goals on the consultation meeting, but this might help you get a better sense of what makes Soft Spaces a unique offering!
This might be for you if:
-You’re navigating a transition, loss, or identity shift (retirement, divorce, an illness, a child, a loss of a loved one) and not sure what to do with the belongings.

-You are interested in "Life Review Cleaning"--also known as "Death Cleaning"--the act of going through your items now, so your loved ones don't have to later!

-You are a parent overwhelmed with the STUFF OF KIDS! Or your own things in them midst of parenting.

-You have a craft room or hobby room and are overwhelmed with cleaning out, even if it isn't functional.
-You've been given the task of sorting through a loved one's items and are not sure where to start.

-You're ready to get rid of the clutter chaos in your home!

-You're ready to become friends with your closet.

-You’re preparing for a transition or move.

-You’re wanting to thoughtfully pass items on with intentionality.
-You'd like help finding creative ways to hold on to memories without having to hold on to a large amount of things.

-You feel overwhelmed and paralyzed by where to start.

-You want to find meaningful ways to connect your stories to your stuff before passing them along.

-You’ve done some personal work and are self-aware of your emotions in relation to your items.
-You're interested in thoughtfully going through your things so your loved ones don't have to later.
This might NOT be for you if:
-Your home is overwhelmingly packed and contains hazardous materials that need to be cleaned out by more than a one person team. I am not a trained extreme cleaner.
-You are looking for a personal cleaner or organizer and not interested in joining in on the process.
-You are not ready or open to doing the emotional work of being open to letting go.
-There is signifiant conflict in your family around your belongings and you may need mediation before cleaning out.
-Your grief is still too fresh and you need more time before feeling ready to go through items.
-You need deeper support for trauma connected to your belongings (I am not a licensed therapist).
