Since there are many cleaning and decluttering services out there, is important to me that we are the right fit when we work together! We will go over your needs and your goals on the consultation meeting, but this might help you get a better sense of what makes Soft Spaces a unique offering!

This might be for you if:

  • You’re navigating a transition, loss, or identity shift and want steadiness and practical support with your belongings.

  • You want to approach your belongings with love for yourself and love for your space instead of pressure or shame.

  • You are wanting your space(s) to be more functional, supportive, and peaceful!

  • You function best with collaborative, relational, practical support.

  • You want systems that work with your brain and your real life! You are ready to show up and do the work to honor yourself and your spaces.

  • You want to pass things on thoughtfully, with care and agency.

  • You’re drawn to a steady, grounded pace that creates safety and momentum.

  • You’re ready for empowerment through co-regulated support, not someone just telling you what to do. This work is collaborative, because you know yourself and your space best!!

Soft Spaces is for people who want spaces that feel lighter, supportive, and more reflective of who they are!

Our working sessions will include reflection, conversation, and hands-on cleaning-out. (We will honor Thinking, Feeling, and Doing in our sessions.)

This might not be for you if:

  • Your home requires a large-scale cleanout, hazardous material removal, or a multi-person crew. I am a one-person team and can not provide extreme cleaning services.

  • You’re looking for someone to clear and organize your home without your involvement--which is a valid choice! However, Soft Spaces is collaborative.

  • Your home has an active pest or rodent infestation. (For health and safety reasons, I can't provide in-home services in spaces with active pest infestations. Once an infestation has been fully addressed, I’m happy to explore working together!)

  • You are looking solely for a traditional “professional organizer.” Soft Spaces is not a quick-fix or purely aesthetic organizing service. Our work includes mindful clean-out, reflection, conversation, and collaborative system-building. I bring steadiness, structure, and an outside perspective. Together, we create solutions that are manageable, intentional, and aligned with your real life!!

  • Your space is impacted by hoarding behaviors that requires a level of support beyond what a solo provider can offer. If hoarding behaviors are part of your experience, I may recommend beginning with additional supports, such as therapeutic care, professional cleanup services, or coordinated team support.

  • There is ongoing, high-conflict family disagreement around belongings that may require mediation before sorting can begin.

  • Your grief is very fresh and you do not yet feel steady enough to go through items. (There is no rush.)

  • You are not open to reflection, discussion, or emotional processing as part of the work.

  • You are needing deeper support for trauma and attachment connected to your belongings (I am not a licensed therapist).
